Resource Room Services
Registered student organizations have access to a line of credit for use in the Resource Room. Student organizations must have Active or Pending status with Student Activities to access their line of credit. The annual line of credit is worth $250.00 and may be used on the following:

Reservable Equipment
The three listed leaders (primary leader, secondary leader, treasurer) of a student organization may check out various equipment. Unless otherwise stated, all equipment is reservable for one day with BuckID and is due back by Noon the following day:

Popcorn Machine Reservations
Request reservation - Requests must be submitted at least 10 business days before the intended pick-up date.
Student Organization*:
Single-Day Reservation:
- Rental of 1 cart, 1 machine, and 1 popcorn scoop
- Maintenance supplies: degreasing cleaner spray and paper towels
- Popcorn supplies: two kernel packets (serves 15 each) and 30 individual serving bags.**
If an organization's reservation exceeds the amount included with the base Single Day reservation, additional kernel packets are available for purchase using the organization's line of credit. Each packet costs $1.75 (that serves 15 people) and comes with 15 individual serving bags. If your organization needs to purchase 8 or more additional bags, this information must be provided three weeks ahead of their event to account for possible ordering needs.
Single-Day reservations can begin as early as 9:30 a.m. on weekdays, and 12:30 p.m. on weekends. Reservations must start and end on the same day. Materials must be returned clean to the Resource Room by 9:00 pm on weekdays, and 6:00 pm on weekends. If additional time/days are requested, the reservation can include a request for additional days of use at a daily rate of $25 charged to your organization's line of credit up-front or paid via credit card transaction at the start of the reservation.
A late fee of $25 and loss of reservation privileges may be incurred if the machine(s) are not returned on the agreed-upon return date or return state of the machine. See the Return Policy below.
If your request is approved, the following individuals are authorized to collect your reservation's materials:
- Primary Leader
- Secondary Leader
- Treasurer
*Student Organizations in Pending or Active status at the time of use are permitted to request a Resource Room popcorn machine.
University Department Reservations:
Short-Term Rental: 4 Hours ($30) This reservation includes the following:
- Rental of 1 cart, 1 machine, 1 scoop
- Maintenance supplies: degreasing cleaner spray and paper towels
- Popcorn supplies: $1.75 per kernel packet (serves 15 each) and 15 individual serving bags.**
Materials must be returned clean to the Resource Room by 9:00 pm on weekdays, or 6:00 pm on weekends. If the Resource Room is closed upon returning the machine, all materials must be returned within the first-hour opening, 10:00 am on weekdays, and 1:00 pm on weekends. A late fee of $60 and loss of reservation privileges may be incurred if the machine(s) are not returned on the agreed-upon return date or return state of the machine. See the Return Policy below.
Full-Term Rental: 24 Hours ($60)This reservation includes the following
- Rental of 1 cart, 1 machine, 1 scoop
- Maintenance supplies: degreasing cleaner spray and paper towels
- Popcorn supplies: $1.75 per kernel packet (serves 15 each) and 15 individual serving bags.**
Materials must be returned clean by the 24-hour mark. If the Resource Room is closed upon returning the machine, all materials must be returned within the first-hour opening, 10:00 am on weekdays, and 1:00 pm on weekends. A late fee of $60 and loss of reservation privileges may be incurred if the machine(s) are not returned on the agreed-upon return date or return state of the machine. See the Return Policy below.

- The Department Requester listed on the Popcorn Request form
**If a department needs to purchase 8 or more additional bags, this information must be provided three weeks ahead of their event to account for possible ordering needs
Return Policy: Machines must be returned in a clean and usable condition. Requestors are responsible for ensuring that the machines are completely cooled and cleaned, so they are ready for the next user. Cleaning fees will be assessed by staff upon return. If the sides of the machine are not cleaned, kernels remain in the bin or catch tray, or the cart is covered in popcorn, a $10 cleaning charge will apply.
