Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership and Service

Student Organization Office and Locker Applications

The Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership and Service, on the second floor of the Ohio Union, is your point of connection for involvement at Ohio State. You can connect with leadership and service initiatives, engage with student organizations, advance your learning and create lasting memories.

For students looking to get involved, this is a great place to start - set up a meeting with a staff member or contact organizations who have offices in the Center. For students who are already involved, the Center is your home away from home - utilize services and supplies from the Resource Room, book a meeting space for your leadership team, or catch up with friends in the lounge.

Office and Locker Tenants

Over 120 student organizations have office and locker space within the KBK Center. Office tenants host a minimum of 10 weekly office hours to be accessible for not only their membership, but also members of the Student Org and Ohio State communities interested in partnering with their organizations. Office tenants participate in the annual Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership and Service Open House, hosted typically during Leadership Week. Locker tenants, while they are not required to host hours in the space, do have opportunities to participate in the Open House. All tenant organizations are eligible to have representation on the KBK Council.

Office and locker applications for the 2023-2024 academic year were open March 8 and accepted through April 5. Space is currently full, so organizations hoping for space in the 2024-2025 academic year should look for the application to go live in spring of 2024. For more information, visit our Tenant resources, or contact your student org team at sl-resourceroom@osu.edu with questions.

Hours of Operation

The KBK Center lounge spaces and meeting rooms are typically available for use during the Resource Room hours of operation. Outside of Resource Room hours, office and locker tenants may access their assigned space during Ohio Union building hours if they have completed an annual access form.

Reading Day in the KBK Center

All students are invited to stop by the KBK Center on Thursday, December 7, 2023, 12pm-4pm, for coffee, coloring and relaxation while supplies last. Take time at the end of the semester to relax with fellow student org members and friends as you prepare for finals. No pre-registration is required.

Other events at the fall semester Reading Day calendar will be available closer to the end of the semester.
