Organization and Member Development
Ohio State's student organization community provides meaningful opportunities for students to get involved, make friends, build leadership skills, and engage with the community. Our student organizations team is committed to helping you develop organizations worth joining and build leaders worth following. These developmental resources build on the annual registration foundation to help every student organization pursue success.
Student Organization Success Framework
The Student Organization Success Framework guides our student organization community. It provides 19 outcomes across 3 categories focused on member development, organization operations, and community engagement. Leaders can use the outcomes to identify annual goals based on the organization's priorities. It's not realistic to try to pursue all 19 outcomes in a given year. Instead, use the self-assessment, reflection, and planning tools to identify 1-2 outcomes that will guide the work of your student organization each year.
Student Organization Success Coaches
Student Organization Success Coaches are available to meet and consult with student organization leaders and members on a variety of topics. This includes using the Framework, registration, funding, and accessing important university resources. You can schedule a meeting directly with a coach or email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions anytime.
A variety of programs are available throughout the year for organization leaders and members, brand new organizations, KBK Center tenants, and advisors. Check out the full program listing or the Student Life calendar for the latest happenings.
