Find a Student Organization

There are over 1,400 student organizations at Ohio State and over half of all students join a student organization. Students who choose to get involved achieve many positive outcomes - leadership skills, better grades, friendships and mentors, and make a big campus seem small. Use the tools below to search for, find, and get involved with student organizations.

You can also connect with many of our student organizations at our Student Involvement Fairs in August and January. Check out the Student Involvement Fairs webpage for the latest information.

For individualized assistance find the student organization that's right for you, schedule a Get Involved Consultation. These 30-minute meetings will provide a personalized list of recommendations based on your interests and aspirations.

Please consult this list of student organizations with revoked registration as of Autumn 2024. Some organizations continue to operate after their registration has been revoked despite the action taken by the university. We encourage you to review an organization’s status before becoming involved with it, especially because sometimes an organization’s status is revoked due to serious concerns like hazing and other behavior that risks your health and safety.

Zamobuckeyes

Campus: Columbus
Status: Active - New/Re-Established II
Purpose Statement: There is a rich history of collaboration between Zamorano University in Honduras and The Ohio State University (OSU) that includes exchanges of faculty members, visits by researchers, and alumni that pursue graduate studies at OSU. In 2019 a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions was renewed. Zamobuckeyes is a graduate student organization for Zamorano alumni enrolled at OSU to promote engagement and collaboration with other OSU graduate students that are interested in engaging with the Zamorano and Latin American culture. Zamorano alumni are considered those students who completed their undergraduate and/or graduate education at the Escuela Agricola Panamericana, “Zamorano University” located in Honduras, Central America. The National Zamorano Alumni Association (AGEAP-USA) was established in 1993 and promotes collaboration across disciplines related to agriculture between former graduates and those interested in Latin America and other regions of the world where alumni are located. Currently, it has approximately 450 members from 20 different nationalities in 12 Universities throughout the United States. The purpose of this organization is, but is not limited to, to promote academic, professional, and personal development of its members and foster activities to contribute to the community by sharing interests, ideas, and cultural experiences. Furthermore, this organization aims to promote networking between OSU graduate students, the Zamorano community at OSU, the national Zamorano Alumni Association in the United States, and other organizations interested in the region of Latin America. Zamobuckeyes is a group open to any OSU graduate student interested in understanding and enhancing their connections with international agriculture and Latin American communities. Upper-level undergraduates, especially those considering their path into graduate school, are welcome to apply.
