Find a Student Organization

There are over 1,400 student organizations at Ohio State and over half of all students join a student organization. Students who choose to get involved achieve many positive outcomes - leadership skills, better grades, friendships and mentors, and make a big campus seem small. Use the tools below to search for, find, and get involved with student organizations.

You can also connect with many of our student organizations at our Student Involvement Fairs in August and January. Check out the Student Involvement Fairs webpage for the latest information.

For individualized assistance find the student organization that's right for you, schedule a Get Involved Consultation. These 30-minute meetings will provide a personalized list of recommendations based on your interests and aspirations.

Please consult this list of student organizations with revoked registration as of Spring 2024. Some organizations continue to operate after their registration has been revoked despite the action taken by the university. We encourage you to review an organization’s status before becoming involved with it, especially because sometimes an organization’s status is revoked due to serious concerns like hazing and other behavior that risks your health and safety.

Buckeyes for Public Health

Campus: Columbus
Status: Active - New/Re-Established I
Purpose Statement: Buckeyes for Public Health will serve the primary purpose of promoting all aspects of public health by empowering Ohio State University students through opportunities for service, personal and professional development, and fellowship in the fields of local and global public health. Buckeyes for Public Health will also serve as a liaison to connect students with interdisciplinary organizations to receive hands-on experiences in the field. This club is experience based and will be structured in a way that is engaging and can sustain itself through years to come. It is dedicated to bringing the Public Health Undergraduate community together through support and guidance! We welcome students who want to make a difference in their community by providing you with the resources and mindset needed to be a public health advocate, leader and buckeye. 1.) Professional Development: The College of Public Health offers opportunities to network, learn, and prepare for the professional world, post-graduation. We will be partnering with faculty, professors, and advisors within the college to provide opportunities to grow and workshop outside of classes. Buckeyes for Public Health members do not have to be enrolled as a Public Health Major. All are welcome to utilize this club to support their future passions and goals. 2.) Community Engagement: Consistent Volunteer opportunities and Legacy Projects/Events that sustain themselves over time, will help strengthen The Ohio State University and Ohio community. 3.) Build Friendships: The goal is to guide students towards building a foundation of support as they pursue their degree at The Ohio State University. This includes social events and the building of connections with The Ohio Public Health Association. 4.) Learn More: We will provide opportunities to learn more about public health. This includes information sessions and the formulation of hands-on public health simulations. We strive to serve as a resource to all public health minded students
