Student Org Tour Challenge

What is the Student Org Tour Challenge?

From August 13-23, Student Activities is hosting a walking tour that allows you to get to know campus, visit some iconic locations, learn more about our student organization community, and plan to get involved all in one activity. To make it even better, Student Activities has partnered with Buckeye Nation Rewards so you can earn points that translate to real rewards! 

The challenge is available from August 12-23. You can accumulate points for participating on August 18 in Buckeye Nation Rewards.


How Do I Join the Challenge?

1. Navigate to Buckeye Nation Rewards to set up an account. Setting up an account is the only way you are able to accumulate points for rewards. Go to buckeyenationrewards.com to set up your account.

2. Find the Org Tour under the Challenges section of the website.

3. Start the tour and earn points!

  • Win 250 GoBucks - View the article about the tour on the Buckeye Nation Rewards website to start off..
  • Win 500 GoBucks and a chance to a giftcarda - Submit a picture of yourself on the tour at a location by tweeting it with #StudentOrgTour and tagging @StudentLifeOSU.
  • Complete the trivia question at each tour location to earn even more points!

Tour Stop Locations

There are 12 total stops on the tour, which each correspond to a different category of student organizations. While in Buckeye Nation Rewards, you will be able to see all tour stops, but feel free to use the list below for reference as well. The sign at each stop explains how the location relates to that type of student organization. Can you guess just by looking at the list which organization categories relate to the stops?

6. William Oxley Thompson Statue on the Oval

7. Mirror Lake

8. Hale Black Cultural Center

10. Interfaith Prayer Room in Ohio Union

12. Wexner Plaza

  • Be sure to check out the Student Involvement Fair on August 23 from 4-7 p.m .to get a chance to personally interact with many of our registered student organizations.
