Find a Student Organization

There are over 1,400 student organizations at Ohio State and over half of all students join a student organization. Students who choose to get involved achieve many positive outcomes - leadership skills, better grades, friendships and mentors, and make a big campus seem small. Use the tools below to search for, find, and get involved with student organizations.

You can also connect with many of our student organizations at our Student Involvement Fairs in August and January. Check out the Student Involvement Fairs webpage for the latest information.

For individualized assistance find the student organization that's right for you, schedule a Get Involved Consultation. These 30-minute meetings will provide a personalized list of recommendations based on your interests and aspirations.

Please consult this list of student organizations with revoked registration as of Spring 2025. Some organizations continue to operate after their registration has been revoked despite the action taken by the university. We encourage you to review an organization’s status before becoming involved with it, especially because sometimes an organization’s status is revoked due to serious concerns like hazing and other behavior that risks your health and safety.

Off the Lake Productions

Campus: Columbus
Status: Active - Established
Purpose Statement: Off the Lake Productions is The Ohio State University's only student-run, service-based theatre organization. Every year we have FOUR major productions whose proceeds go to a charity organization of our choice: our Fall Cabaret, Play, Musical, and Peer Theatre's One Acts. In addition to the One Acts, Peer Theatre performs skits on relevant topics for students at Ohio State and our trained facilitators give audiences the opportunity to reflect on what was shared and participate in a facilitated dialogue. OTL gives back to the community through various service organizations on campus and in the Columbus community. Some previous service events Off the Lake has participated in include BuckeyeThon, donating to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Light up the Lake, theatre workshops with All THAT (Teens Hopeful About Tomorrow), Caroling at local nursing homes, volunteering with The Harmony Project, Kaleidoscope Youth Center, and many more! Students can be involved in various capacities including Pit, Peer Theatre, Cast and Crew. All members are encouraged to participate in org-wide community and service events. Our overall theme is - In the Community, On the Stage, Off the Lake.
