There are over 1,300 student organizations at Ohio State. Use the search tools below to get involved, initiate collaboration, or attend programs hosted by our various student organizations. Contact information for each organization is listed in their online record. Use the "advanced search" tools to focus your search even more and find an organization that's right for you!

Please consult this list of Organizations Suspended by the University as of Autumn 2019. Some suspended organizations continue to operate despite the action taken by the university. We encourage you to review an organization’s status before becoming involved with it, especially because sometimes an organization’s status is revoked due to serious concerns like hazing and other behavior that risks your health and safety.

Band of Brothers

Campus: Columbus
Status: Active - New/Re-Established II
Purpose Statement: The Band of Brothers is a student-based extension of the Todd Anthony Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male, otherwise known as the BNRC. The BNRC is the leading resource center for Black Males at accredited four year institutions such as Ohio State in the nation. As its extension, the Band of Brothers (BOB) seeks to assimilate the values of service, scholarship, and professional development from the BNRC into all their events and endeavors, while maintaining a deep sense of fellowship for all those that partake in the experience. Thus the four core tiers of the organization are: scholarship, service, professional development, and brotherhood. The BOB Creed states, "As brothers, we shall dedicate our time and efforts to engendering a positive, progressive, and fortified unit driven by scholarship and excellence. Just as iron sharpens iron, so will we sharpen each other’s lives and minds so that in future endeavors, even in the absence of comrades, the band shall still live in us as we exhibit the four core tiers of scholarship, professionalism, service, and brotherhood."
