Advisor Lunch - Spring 2026
To be determined
Student organization staff/faculty advisors and co-advisors are invited to a lunch & learn workshop for risk management and conflict mediation. Advisors are often asked to support students through organizational turbulence and can be a voice of reason during challenging times, which means it is important to be aware of relevant policies, expectations, and resources in addition to having the skills to facilitate finding a path forward. Attendees will hear from topic experts from the Risk and Emergency Management team as well as Student Mediation Services in an interactive learning space that will cover types of conflicts, tools and go-to techniques for facilitating dialogue, and campus resources and services that support in times of conflict.
This is the perfect opportunity to leverage the advising community’s experience working with student organizations, as this event is intended for advisors and co-advisors only.
