Student Organization Programs

Student organization leaders, members and advisors can take advantage of a variety of required and optional programs throughout the year. These programs are designed to develop individual leadership skills, build effective teams, engage in the community and navigate university processes and policies. Use the links below for additional information and/or to register for any of these programs.

Constitution Workshop (Virtual)

Thursday, September 11 from 6-7 p.m.

Join us for a workshop on creating an effective organization constitution using the new Constitution Template. This is highly recommended for all new organizations, though any organization leader will benefit from this conversation.
Advisor Breakfast 2024

October 2, 2025 in Ohio Union Great Hall Meeting Room - 9-11 a.m.

This event brings student organization leaders and their advisors together to connect over a meal provided by the Ohio Union.

KBK Student Open House and Resource Night

Tuesday, September 30 from 5-7 p.m.

This is an event for students to become familiar with the Keith B. Key Center in the Ohio Union and connect with departments that offer resources to help students navigate their academic life

Reading Day in the KBK: Coffee and Coloring

Students are encouraged to stop by the KBK center during their study break to drink some coffee and relax by coloring with fellow student org members

Advisor Lunch

Advisors are able to leverage each other's experience working with student orgs. Student Activities staff support conversation around relevant topics such as risk reduction, funding, transitions, and more. This event is for advisors only.
Spring SIF 2025

Student Organizations have the opportunity to spread the word about their purpose and connect with students. This event is similar to the Fall Student Involvement fair, its only difference being its smaller size.

The Student Life Leadership Awards is an annual awards ceremony that celebrates the students, advisors and organizations who demonstrate leadership skills, collaboration, and a commitment to the Ohio State community.

Reading Day in the KBK: Coffee and Coloring

All students are welcome to stop by the KBK Center for Student Leadership and Service on Reading Day for Coffee and Coloring. Take time at the end of the semester to relax with fellow student organization members and friends!
