Reason #2: You have already requested the max number of tickets for this semester for the event. (General Events Only).

No. All special ticketed events and specific general discounts, including Restaurant gift cards, Jeni's Ice Cream gift cards, Glass Axis gift cards, North Market gift certificates, Lockdown Columbus Escape Room, The Wilds gift card,Hocking Hills zipline tour vouchers, Cedar Point tickets, Mad River Mountain, Dine Original Decks and Zoombezi Bay tickets, will be conducted via the lottery. All other general discounts and group order tickets will not be distributed in the lottery. Students can pick up tickets that are not in the lottery at the Information Center at their convenience. General Discount tickets will be restocked on a weekly basis, check out the "General Discount" tab for more information.

If all students who entered the lottery for an event receive ticket(s) for the event, and tickets are left over, students will be able to pick up the leftover tickets at the Information Center. D-Tix will announce the leftover tickets on the website on the home page under "Tickets On Sale".

Unfortunately, removing yourself from the lottery is permanent. Once you have removed yourself, you cannot sign up for the same event again.

This means that the lottery has not been processed yet.

This means that the lottery has been processed and students have been selected to receive a ticket(s), but you were not selected to receive a ticket(s). If students selected do not pick up their tickets in the allotted two days, the lottery will be ran again, which means there is still a chance you will be selected to receive a ticket(s). Once all the tickets have been picked up, the status for the event will be changed to “Sold Out” on the website.

This means the lottery has been processed and you have been selected to receive a ticket(s). You have 48 hours to pick up and pay for your tickets at the Ohio Union’s Information Center, exact deadlines can be found in the winner's email you were sent. The Information Center is open seven days a week. For the most up-to-date hours, visit the home page.

This means you have been selected to receive tickets and have picked up your tickets at the Ohio Union’s Information Center.

This means that you have removed yourself from the lottery. You may remove yourself from the lottery before the 48 hour registration period closes. Doing so will not count as a default and therefore, no privileges will be lost.

This means that D-Tix staff has removed you from the lottery. The main reason for this is default.  If you have been selected for the lottery, but decline to pick up your ticket(s) two times or do not respond to email or webpage notifications, you will default and lose privileges to enter any lottery for the remainder of the semester.

This means that you have entered the drawing, but were not selected to receive tickets and all tickets are sold. In contrast to “Drawing In Process,” a “Sold Out” status means there are no more chances to receive a ticket(s) for the event.
