Student Organization 150-Hour Service Challenge
To celebrate and honor the university's sesquicentennial anniversary, Student Activities is challenging student organizations to complete 150 service hours during the 2019-2020 academic year.
How does my organization participate?
Active and Pending registered student organizations can log hours. No direct enrollment is necessary to participate in this challenge, simply log hours as you serve. The form will close on March 20, 2020. Hours completed in the 2019-2020 academic year until March 20, 2020 are able to be counted for this challenge.
To log hours, complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Why should my organization do this challenge?
In line with the Student Organization Success Framework, Community Engagement is an important element of building and maintaining a strong and successful student org on campus.
This service challenge can apply to many outcomes of the Student Org Success Framework, with direct emphasis in Connection to Student Organizations, Affinity with the University, and Commitment to Social Change.
To recognize the efforts of student organizations who reach 150 hours, we will honor these groups at Student Life Leadership Awards in April 2020.
