There are over 1,400 student organizations at Ohio State and over half of all students join a student organization. Students who choose to get involved achieve many positive outcomes - leadership skills, better grades, friendships and mentors, and make a big campus seem small. Use the tools below to search for, find, and get involved with student organizations.

For individualized assistance find the student organization that's right for you, schedule a Get Involved Consultation. These 30-minute meetings will provide a personalized list of recommendations based on your interests and aspirations.

Please consult this list of student organizations with revoked registration as of Spring 2024. Some organizations continue to operate after their registration has been revoked despite the action taken by the university. We encourage you to review an organization’s status before becoming involved with it, especially because sometimes an organization’s status is revoked due to serious concerns like hazing and other behavior that risks your health and safety.

Purpose Statement: The Undergraduate Economics Society serves all undergraduate students at The Ohio State University with a direct or indirect interest in economics. Our vision is to "Inspire the Economists of Tomorrow", a mission fulfilled in the following manners: Enabling members to become well-versed in multiple aspects within the vast field of economics; developing members’ professional and academic skills to improve employment, graduate school, and other desirability; bringing awareness to employment opportunities that utilize the skills acquired by a university Economics-related degree; promote friendly relations between faculty, businesspeople, and students; discuss and evaluate the undergraduate economics curriculum; promote and provide resources for any undergraduate student who seeks to participate in economics research. 1.) We conduct a semester-long project designed to be beginner-friendly to aid in beginning economics work 2.) We connect students with professors and graduate students by sponsoring collaboration within the Department of Economics 3.) We recognize outstanding undergraduate achievement in Ohio State's economics department 4.) We foster discussion and elaboration on economics to continuously pursue the knowledge of a dynamic world economy
