Pay It Forward has created a Socially Distant Service webpage in response to the current health crisis. If you are looking to volunteer consider the following, call ahead to see if they are accepting volunteers, practice social distancing, inquire about virtual volunteer roles, consider donating items or dollars instead of time.

In fulfillment of the university's mission, "education for citizenship," Ohio State students have numerous opportunities to connect with communities, engage in social justice issues, and develop skills for active citizenship. Student Activities offers a variety of programs designed to help students engage at a local, national, and global level.

As part of the century-old settlement house movement, The CRC is a community-based social services agency that brings people together to help individuals and families build upon their strengths. For more than forty years, CRC has been making a difference in the lives of Clintonville neighbors. Many lives have been improved or sustained by the services CRC provides. CRC promotes self-sufficiency while respecting individual worth, rights and dignity. Thus creating a greater quality of life for everyone throughout the community.

Opportunities from this Organization

  • Village in the Ville provides engagement, community, and services to older adults in the Clintonville-Beechwold neighborhood. We're seeking volunteers to help ready members' yard for spring and summer. Tasks are set by each individual member but will likely include cleaning up debris, trimming hedges, cleaning outdoor furniture, and pulling weeds. Equipment and materials provided. This is a great opportunity for groups of all sizes, and we can schedule to make this work for you.
