Live From the KBK: Career Development Edition

Join us every morning of Leadership Week to learn more about the five themes of Leadership Week and what those look like in practice for university leaders. Interviewing

This interview skills workshop is designed to help students prepare for job or graduate school interviews. Thank You For Coming to My TED Talk: Public Speaking Skills

Volunteering and Beyond!

6-7pm

Social justice work includes a spectrum of opportunities such as allyship, socially responsible daily behavior, and education about current events and issues. In this presentation members of Buck-I-SERV will show students how they can take steps towards become an active citizen through social justice work, including hands on service experiences like Buck-I-SERV trips. We will provide direct connections to our community to exemplify how the work of active citizens can impact social justice issues.

Engaging Alumni as Mentors

This session will provide a framework for engaging alumni as mentors to students in your organization. Alumni are eager to connect with current students and provide guidance through their Ohio State experience and career development. The presenter will highlight campus and virtual resources to connect with alumni, in addition to providing guidance on developing a structured mentoring program to meet the needs and interests of mentors and mentees.
