Local Service Trips

Throughout the year, Pay It Forward provides smaller scale local service opportunities. These opportunities range from urban farming to working with children with developmental disabilities. We provide transportation to and from service sites, so there is no need for you to find your own. We offer a wide variety of service trips focusing on various social justice issues to allow students to gain new experiences and match students to opportunities that they are genuinely passionate about.

Our last Local Service Trip of the semester will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 8:45 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with Mid-Ohio Workers Association. Service will take place outside at their annual Spring Family Brunch. Volunteers will help run and monitor a series of games including the children’s egg hunt. Just come to the Ohio Union ready to serve on the morning of the event, and all transportation will be coordinated for you!
