In fulfillment of the university's mission, "education for citizenship," Ohio State students have numerous opportunities to connect with communities, engage in social justice issues, and develop skills for active citizenship. Student Activities offers a variety of programs designed to help students engage at a local, national, and global level.

    Kindred Hospice provides hospice services to patients and families throughout the Central Ohio area. We are seeking administrative volunteers to enable us to provide high-quality, effective, and efficient care. An Administrative Volunteer may assist with answering telephones, filing, making copies, greeting visitors, and more! Helping with these tasks enables our excellent team of healthcare workers to care for our patients and their families. It is preferred that volunteers would be available for 2-3 hours around the same time each week, preferably on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Chat, read, play music, reminisce, bring your registered therapy dog, or just share time together quietly. You may select the patients you wish to see, as well as determine the times you visit--whatever fits YOUR schedule.
