 bringing rising stars Emma Seligman and Sabrina Wu. Join us as they will 
 be speaking about their experiences within the comedy and film industries
  and the importance of queer representation on and off the screen&nbsp\;\
 nEmma Seligman is a Canadian writer/director and winner of the 2022 Indep
 endent Spirit John Cassavetes Award. Their debut feature\, SHIVA BABY\, w
 as selected to screen at SXSW and TIFF in 2020 and was named a New York T
 imes Critics Pick. In 2020\, Emma was namedone of Variety&rsquo\;s &ldquo
 \;10 Screenwriters to Watch&rdquo\; and one of Filmmaker Mag&rsquo\;s &ld
 quo\;25 New Faces of Independent Film.&rdquo\; Their second feature\, BOT
 TOMS\, made with Orion Pictures\, premiered at SXSW 2023 to rave reviews 
 and released in theaters on August 25\, 2023.\nSabrina Wu is a Brooklyn b
 ased actor\, writer\, and stand-up comedian. They recently made their fea
 ture film debut in the Lionsgate comedy JOY RIDE\, from executive produce
 rs Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and director Adele Lim. Variety Magazine 
 recently named Wu one of the 10 Comics to Watch. In 2022\, Just for Laugh
 s Comedy Festival selected Wu as one of their New Faces of Comedy. In Oct
 ober that year\, they went on to make their late-night stand -up debut on
  The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Sabrina regularly performs at venues
  like Union Hall and the Bell House in New York City\, where they&rsquo\;
 ve been featured as part of the New York Comedy Festival. Wu served as a 
 staff writer on the Disney+ series Doogie Kamealoha M.D. and is currently
  a staff writer on an unannounced series for Netflix with Mike Schur exec
 utive producing. They recently sold their pilot to 20th Century Studios.\
