 \;s 27th Annual Community Commitment. Since 1997\, Buckeyes have started 
 the new school year by coming together to serve the Columbus community.\n
 Whether you volunteer together with your student organization\, a group o
 f friends or want to get involved individually\, all undergraduate\, grad
 uate and professional students are invited to join Pay It Forward as we r
 ing in the new academic year by giving back to the city of Columbus throu
 gh a morning of community service! Students will have the opportunity to 
 participate in 2-3 hours of community service with a local nonprofit arou
 nd a variety of community issues.\nRegistration for Community Commitment 
 2024 starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday\, August 24.&nbsp\;Breakfast will be
  provided\, and there will be a brief opening ceremony before students ar
 e sent out to complete their service. Service will take place from\, appr
